Do I have to send my DBS Certificate to the ECB? Follow
Once your certificate has been issued you will receive an email notifying you and any next steps that are required to complete vetting clearance for your role in cricket.
At this point you will be notified if you are required to send your DBS certificate to the ECB Safeguarding Team.
You are not required to show your DBS certificate to anybody else in cricket other than the ECB Safeguarding Team and any request to do so should be reported to ECB DBS Team.
Failure to send your DBS certificate to the ECB when requested may result in temporary suspension from your regulated role in Cricket until you do.
A temporary suspension of the application will be imposed if we have not received the DBS certificate within 28 days of the result being produced and first request being sent. Automated weekly reminders are also sent if we have not received the certificate.
If a temporary suspension is put in place you will then have up to a further two months to submit your certificate and if the certificate is not receive in this time, the application will be terminated and you will need to complete a new application.
Please note that scanned/photocopies of certificates will not accepted. You will need to provide the original copy.
