Do I have to send my DBS Certificate to the ECB? Follow
Once your certificate has been issued you will receive an email notifying you and any next steps that are required to complete vetting clearance for your role in cricket.
At this point you will be notified if you are required to send your DBS certificate to the ECB Safeguarding team.
You are not required to show your DBS certificate to anybody else in cricket other than the ECB Safeguarding Team,
Failure to send your DBS certificate to the ECB when requested may result in temporary suspension from your regulated role in Cricket until you do. You have up to 3 months to submit your certificate after which time you will need to complete a new application.
Please note that scanned/photocopies of certificates will not accepted. You will need to provide the original copy.
