DBS Certificate - Temporarily Suspended Follow
When you have received your certificate you may be requested by the ECB to post your certificate to the ECB Safeguarding Team, County Cricket Ground, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU to fully complete vetting checks.
This request will be made in the initial result confirmation email from the ECB DBS Disclosures team. A reminder email will also be sent to you on a weekly basis for 4 weeks if we do not receive your certificate after the first request.
If the 4 week deadline is not met, an email will be sent to you (and a copy to your County Safeguarding Officer) notifying you that you are temporarily suspended from any role in Regulated Activity under the auspices of the ECB.
At the point of temporary suspension you still have a further 2 months to submit your certificate to complete vetting. Please note that scanned/photocopies of certificates will not accepted. You will need to provide the original copy.
Following vetting review you will be advised if you have been cleared for the role you have completed your application for.
If the certificate is not submitted within the 3 month deadline then the certificate will be marked as invalid and you will not be cleared for Regulated Activity in cricket.
A new application would need to be completed if you are still wishing to be cleared for Regulated activity in cricket.
