DBS Certificate - Temporarily Suspended Follow
When you have received your certificate you may be requested by the ECB to post your certificate to ECB Safeguarding Team, County Cricket Ground, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU to fully completion vetting checks.
This request will be made in the initial result confirmation email from the DBS team. A reminder email will also be sent to you on a weekly basis for 4 weeks if we do not receive your certificate after the first request.
If the 4 week deadline is not met, an email will be sent to you (and a copy to your County Safeguarding Officer) notifying you that you are temporarily suspended from any regulated activity role under the auspices of the ECB.
At the point of temporary suspension you still have 2 months to submit your certificate to complete vetting.
Following vetting review you will be advised if you have been cleared for the role you are undertaking.
If the certificate is not submitted within the 3 month timeframe then the certificate will be flagged invalid and you will not be cleared for regulated activity in cricket.
A new application would need to be completed if you are still wishing to be cleared for regulated activity in cricket.
