Checking DBS status - Atlantic Data DBS Portal Follow

A verifier can check the status of someone's DBS using the Atlantic Data system. This will be restricted to searching people within the user's location i.e. club members for Club-level users or members of clubs within the County for County-wide users.

To check an individual's DBS application status on the Atlantic Data portal, click on 'DBS Applications' then 'Manage DBS Applications' from the top menu.

Search the person using their forename and surname (you may search using surname and DOB - just make sure at least two search fields have been filled in) [1]. Hit 'search' [2].

The person's name and details should show underneath the search box. It will show their name [4], their club name, the last time their application status was updated, and the status of their DBS application [3]. If you need to initiate a new application for the person (their current one may have been or may need to be cancelled) you can do this using the 'Add New Application' button above the application status [5].

To see a list of the different status' and what they mean, read the DBS status descriptions article.
