DBS Certificate - Replacement / Reprint Follow
Once your DBS Certificate has been issued you will receive an email from ECB to advise of it's issue and any next steps.
If you have not received your certificate - which is posted directly from the DBS to your application address via Royal Mail - then you can request a reprint. Please allow 14 days from the issue date of your certificate before requesting a replacement certificate.
To request a reprint after 14 days, you can log into your ECB Disclosures account and if the 14 day period has elapsed you will see the below message:
The reprint form will be partially completed, you will only need to enter your personal details and forward the form to DBSreprints@dbs.gov.uk
Please note: You cannot request a certificate replacement if one of the following applies:
- the certificate has been accidentally lost or destroyed after you received it
- the DBS certificate was issued more than 3 months ago (93 days). A new DBS check application will need to be submitted if a certificate is still needed
- a reprint of the certificate has already been dispatched and the copy has not been received
