What are the requirements to becoming an ID verifier? Follow

At the very least, you will need to be a trusted safeguarding recruiter with a current valid ECB DBS to become an ID verifier.

Some Counties also prefer you to be your club’s Safeguarding Officer, however many will welcome others to become verifiers for their club. It can be helpful to have more than one person to share the DBS workload.

It is important for a verifier to be someone who is going to be flexible and available for face-to-face meetings with applicants who need to get their documents verified.

Please speak to your club or County Board if you are interested in becoming an ECB DBS verifier.
